Here is another 1864dedk picture:
 
Vested-Hvidding intenational railway station. This one was new to me.
 
Fence is the border, 4 German guards, 2 Danish + 2 civilian Danish.

I managed to get hold of this wondefull book.
 
Looks like only few markers remain in place. Some are close to the highway, and we will stop there.
 
Enclosed is a picture of the international border ferry at bm # 55.

also i dont see any numbered marks on the 1864 dedk

I just discovered a new book about the old border. Follows the entire 1864 dedk along 128 border markers. My local library has it, but it's out. So I am trying to locate another one, before we leave.

i figure the old dedk rocks are probably still there tho to mark the danish interprovincial boundary
