tho frankly i dont read russian & dont even recognize half the cyrillic alphabet<br/>

that the original map was published in 1976 & that a 1978 redaction of it was overprinted in violet <br/>
<br/>
especially with various boundary corrections or perhaps they are official changes that were made in the interim<br/>
<br/>
but also depicting some new large scale constructions etc<br/>

oddly this heliotrope overprinting is the identical device used by the usgs to update its topos of the usa<br/>
