Yes, I've found out now that this Tavan-Bogd-Uul (which I now take
for the more correct Mongolian name) is a mountain massive with a
number of peaks (maybe five?). The highest one, and presumably on the
tripoint, is called Najramdal (again from the Russian/Cyrillic). This
should also be the highest point in Mongolia.

Friendship peak sounds alright, at least better than "Peak of the
Proletarian Press" or the Arctic islands named after the Pravda
newspaper, the Komsomol etc.

Anyway, I also found out now that the expedition of 2001 has been
postponed to september 2002, due to the extreme snowfall of last year
(even more?!).
