first let me congratulate you peter for inserting this remarkable tripoint into the very teeth & midst of the most riotous orgy of irrelevancy we have yet enjoyed here at bp & let me take this opportunity to congratulate & further incite the rioters as well
there is nothing like a good free for all
but your unusual find is probably the first modern ghost tricountry point in our collection & it betokens as well the fairly imminent demise of all the other west european tricountry points in similar unions & reunions
yes for it sure looks like nearly all our gcebe tricountry points for example & even some geebes could soon be similarly demoted or moreso even while discerning the moment of their transition may not be so easy as in the present case
& like you are giving us a peek into the future of european tripointing here as well as a taste of the present of american tristate pointing
whether we are trending in the general direction of more or fewer tricountry points worldwide is an interesting speculation too
