to ever emerge here in the caspian

quadripoint almost pop out of the blue lake at me
for the caspian is in fact a lake & not a true sea despite its name
just beside & amidst azerbaijan kazakhstan russia & turkmenistan
& then to see also that this possible quadripoint even stood a chance of
being further joined & augmented
& of thus materializing as a full blown quintipoint
if only a small gift of territorial generosity were to be made toward the
fifth party iran by the abovementioned 4 countries
however unlikely that might initially seem

the slim yet perhaps real chance of either of these rare outcomes
reawakened my appetite for determining or even if necessary promoting a
global sovereign maxipoint an appetite already whetted by the possibility
of a botswana namibia zambia zimbabwe quadripoint at the confluence of the
zambezi & chobe
& scarcely appeased by proxy at the quinticounty of okeechobee

i suppose there is no influence one might ever hope to have over any of
these possible outcomes except perhaps by suggesting to these 9 countries
that they are by happenchance all sharers in an unprecedented opportunity
to cocreate a new kind of multinational shrine or shrines to diversity &

in the course of these reveries i was finally able to begin to visualize
the ramifications of the math jack invented for rationalizing a quadripoint
into constituent tripoints
when applied to quintipoints & sextipoints & beyond

so far as we know
but it is nice to realize that each quintipoint
or perhaps i should say the quintipoint
for only 1 is known to exist at present
actually comprises 16 distinct multipoints of 3 kinds
in the same way that every quadripoint actually holds 5 multipoints of 2 kinds

a normal sextipoint would involve 37 multipoints of 4 kinds in all
etc

the former sextipoint at the south pole however was abnormal in that it
involved overlapping or conflicting claims
so it may not be so easily rationalized into all its component tripoints

but i am still expecting to rediscover an authentic sextipoint or even an
octopoint somewhere in the american midwest
where i believe i may once have visited a town that had been subdivided
thru its center point into equal sixths or eighths

there is at least an abortive or incomplete example of just such a pielike
distribution of territory in redonda florida

anyway i guess the thread of all this is to underscore that we do have
somewhere to grow in many directions
