near the village of pinogana in the darien gap of panama it is now looking<br/>
like the separate road networks of north america & south america have<br/>
approached to within 5 or 10 miles of a link up<br/>
<br/>
dont know if that means it is imminent<br/>
for this is one of the most impenetrable swamp thickets in the world<br/>
but at least it is now physically close to a reality</div>
