<div id="ygrps-yiv-1714282387">The Lithuanian Geographic Map 1:50.000 is now publish on cd rom, in 135 map<br/>
sheet. The main topographic features, administrative boundaries are<br/>
presented in the map. Precision of the map is 10 - 20 m in nature. Enclosed<br/>
is a cut including the northeastern city of Ignalina where the nuclear<br/>
electric site is situated. To the east of the city I found that a small<br/>
unnamed islet (waipointed) in the Lake of Drukshiai which after the last<br/>
unfinished delimination now is devided between by and lt. According to my<br/>
SSSR maps it former belonged to Lithuania.<br/>
(Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus last week stated that Lithuania should<br/>
not care the EU pressure and therefor not close the nuclear site down in<br/>
2009 as earlier planned.)<br/>
