i actually did have an interesting moment as 801pm became 802pm<br/>
for i was standing in front of an atm earnestly doing my bit to bag my <br/>
cosmic receipt also<br/>
but actually spacing out in a reverie<br/>
when i was startled back into time by the roar of a motorcycle firing up so <br/>
close to me that i could smell it immediately yet never actually saw it <br/>
behind me in the dark<br/>
& with my hair still on end from the shock of it i figured that that must be <br/>
my cue to hit the balance inquiry button<br/>
& of course i was right<br/>

michael michael motorcycle is what they used to call me in kindergarten<br/>
& now i know why<br/>

& then in the afterglow i did indeed proceed to get lit<br/>
& by around midnight judging from the moon i was telling myself i was happy <br/>
& complete enough to expire & reemerge fully into nonphysical right then & <br/>
there<br/>
when i was again startled back to my senses<br/>
this time by the flashlight beam & gentle rapping on the maxivan itself of <br/>
an absolute paradise dame in the form of the most arrestingly lovely <br/>
policelady i have ever seen or could ever hope to<br/>
who began by calling me by name<br/>
& advised me to sleep not there anymore but a mile north of there<br/>
<br/>
she was so incredible & i was so charmed by her that i nearly invited her <br/>
into the truck to join my party<br/>
like just to make sure she was real<br/>
but thought better & drove away as she indicated<br/>
tho i was too drunk to sing<br/>
<br/>
& in the morning i knew it was a real class visit & not just an apparition <br/>
because i did indeed wake up a mile north of where i started<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
& now for the rest of our lives<br/>
but somehow it all seems like extra bonus time now<br/>
<br/>
