I found this interesting photo on Corbis.com:

It claims its a nomansland road between N & S Cyprus. So it cannot be near Paphos as it says.
 
I think it's the road just lefts of Famagusta, meaning the road is British, N of the road is Turkish, and S is Greek.

This is surely a place I would like to visit If I go back to Cyprus.
