gila bend az
day 14

yes we visited the northernmost point of mexico mxn yesterday morning
aka the arizona bajacalifornia california binational tristate point
mxus2azbcca
first of its kind ever reported here
aka california southeast corner or case
aka northernmost point of baja california too
between algodones bc & andrade ca
where the berlin wall ends in the reeds beside the colorado river
& you just walk around the end of the wall & then if you have the additional
cojones you climb a 40 foot tower in mexico that is linked with a companion
tower by an international cable car ride i nearly also skyjacked
all compliments of the international boundary & water commission
which erected it all there for some reason probably a joke
& stores the car itself on the american tower
which is considerably harder to climb & much harder to get down from
compliments of the american govt

there is no companion cable car ride at the other end of this riverine
sector where the fraternal international tristate point occurs at azbcso or
arizona & baja california & sonora
so perhaps better to call this one a punto triestado
which we visited later in the day at san luis & where the other sector of
the berlin wall ends in the reeds beside the opposite bank of the colorado
even more porously since there you can scramble either around it or under it
almost under the gaze of yanko border guards
i swear i all but did it

tho i can tell you they are working the dogs overtime at the border
crossings per se

& i am left wondering why this fantastic international cable car ride just
at mxn

anyway it has been a busy weekend here chasing boundary crosses in palm
springs both widdershins & deasil
also visited kelove a california monumented tricounty point
kern losangeles ventura counties
yes a dime a dozen jack but the first of its kind reported here west of
nebraska & a probably good likeness of what i might have found on mount
boardman
at the termegapt

plus some merry hot springing
at a distance of only 3 miles from the sea
could that be another record
& there you about have it in a nutshell from here

oh yes
best sign so far read
new cuyama california
population 562
elevation 2150
founded 1951
total 4663

m

ps
nice going brian
i am still seriously cheering you on
tho i am not sure about the theory
as i favor complete benign neglect & ignorance all around
& am calling for a remeasurement on the ice
