the attached class d photo of waorus aka oruswa
which today became the most accurately coordinated tripoint in the world
was taken on a fairly clear day this past spring
facing wsw from very near dry wasw on mckenzie head
at a target distance of less than 4nm

the rocks at lower left are part of the southwest pointing north jetty or
right dimple of the columbia river mouth
which you can also use to orient from topozone

the 200k scale there is best for observing the tripoint position
which is clearly depicted 3nm due west of the first orwa turnpoint
a statutory integral 5minute point falling conveniently in the mouth of the
river roughly midway between the opposing jetty heads

in the pic the waorus point can be visualized in the ocean approximately
just beneath the tip of the lowest tree branch at left & roughly midway
between the horizon & breaker
