<div id="ygrps-yiv-213186422">OK, I think I&#39;ve got this thing working. It now picks up palindromes<br/>
consisting of one or more words within a string, up to the entire<br/>
string. Of the 17000 Antarctic names provided by the USGS, the<br/>
following are the palindromes - all qualified, as you might expect<br/>
from the absence of permanent habitation. (Although it&#39;s not useful,<br/>
it perked me up and reassured me that things were working properly<br/>
when the program spotted the palindrome at the end of &quot;Iles Shetland<br/>
du Sud&quot;.)<br/>
The odd ordering is because I search in descending order of latitude.<br/>

Puerto Oro, Roca Eme, Hannah Point, Islotes Mom, Ulu Peninsula, Kayak<br/>
Bay, Anna Cove, Cape Anna (=Cabo Ana), Pup Cove, Bob Island, Tot<br/>
Island, Pip Cliffs, Pup Rock, Renner Peak, Ebbe Glacier, Mount Noxon,<br/>
Merrem Peak, Hannah Island, Tot Pond, Level Valley, Kanak Peak, Mount<br/>
Massam, Hannah Peak, Mount Ege, Hannah Ridge, Massam Glacier, Mom Peak<br/>

But I promise I won&#39;t post any huge lists to burden the mailboxes of<br/>
the palindromically apathetic ...<br/>
