peter please pardon the previous inadvertent post

the hotmail scrollbar is immediately below the send button
& my nephews mouse is a little sticky

i was so excited too
as this is an extremely nice point you bring
& whether there are 6 or 5 of them makes no difference at all
is what it means in practice

also peter i would like to commend however belatedly the originality of your
message 4317 in which you successfully placed not only nls & nlw but also
nlh in the west indies
since there was no time to mention it at the time

& it also reminds me that the easternmost point in the usa
or use
by the same conventional definition of east & west longitudes
actually falls crazily just west of usw & longitude 180
specifically on semisopochnoi island of the aleutian chain if dry use is
wanted
or for wet use in amchitka passage between semisopochnoi & rat island
if i remember all that correctly
tho i do want to check for whether federal or state territorial waters are
involved
& for the possibility that both use & usw may actually be meridional lines
rather than points
or even a single meridional line for both at long 180
if semisopochnoi & rat are less than 24nm apart

also from mental maps so not absolutely certain but
i think only the usa & russia of all the countries in the world have any
crazy possibility at all of having identical easternmost & westernmost
points or lines at this critical meridian 180
