<div id="ygrps-yiv-972786531">Doing some exploring this weekend I was travelling<br/>
near the PASW corner and found, near the border, a<br/>
small wooden stake coming out of the ground labelled<br/>
&quot;GPS CONTROL POINT EAGLE&quot;.  The words had been painted<br/>
on but was very faded from wear and there was also a<br/>
faded hot pink robbon tied on the top of the stake.<br/>
Has anyone ever heard of these before?  It wasn&#39;t like<br/>
this marker contained some kind of signalling device. <br/>
It was a simple wooden stake like you&#39;d find marking<br/>
someone&#39;s property.  I can&#39;t confirm that it was right<br/>
on the border since it wasn&#39;t marked, and my attempt<br/>
at finding the corner was again unsuccessful so I&#39;m<br/>
not sure if it lined up with the stake.<br/>
Any ideas?<br/>
