eugene or
day 162

another serendipitous diversion today hot springing under snow capped peaks
thanx ma
i needed that
& i know pursuing thalwegs & natural hot spots may not seem very boundary
pointish today
but some day when everyones land is everything again
say in about 18 more centuries
phenoms such as these may be the only living boundary points left to search
for

anyway i still really dont know where ors is
or where i am headed next any more
since eugene is such a trip you dont have to go anywhere

but from the looks of delorme & topozone
ors might be the dip a few miles east of highway 199
if i even remember that number correctly
or else the dip a few miles west of it
but it is just too close to rely on topozone to call

if i had to guess i would say it is the dip to the west
but since i dont have to guess i will probably just stay around here for a
while
maybe get lucky enough to find the relevant paper topos or the list of
boundary stones & geopositions

but i can see it will probably be very difficult to learn for certain which
marker to seek & then also difficult to find the mark itself
since i dont think caor has been marked since 1869
& the one stone of it i have seen nearest usorca was very humble & easy to
miss
