about coasting & circumnavigating states etc<br/>
  & since the world class binge is quiet for a moment<br/>
i would like to add that i have fully pervambulated my former home state of <br/>
connecticut<br/>
all on public roads since private property prevents actually traveling along <br/>
the literal outline of the state in this case<br/>
  as in most cases  i would think<br/>
<br/>
& it was particularly enjoyable to peer into every last nook & cranny along <br/>
the opulent shoreline of long island sound<br/>
where  believe it or not  most beaches are still privately held<br/>
& it was also very cool to snake past every roadstone along the bucolic <br/>
interior reaches of the ctny line & then the ctma line & finally the highly <br/>
complicated & enigmatic ctri line<br/>

in the process all 3 of connecticuts tristate points & all 4 of its cardinal <br/>
extremities were also tried mostly quite successfully<br/>
<br/>
the complete  er  perigrinnation of conn was a very satisfying experience <br/>
lasting over several years<br/>

a rhode island try soon followed<br/>
but is incomplete beyond point judith<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
i think all the small coastal states are ideally well suited for this sport<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
here in oregon an official beachwalking trail runs the entire length of the <br/>
coast from wash to calif<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
at one time or another i have travelled all of the american coast from <br/>
labrador to argentina & from alaska to chile<br/>
but without beachcombing or sandcastling very seriously til now<br/>
day 116 of what i thought was just a great western swing<br/>
but which may actually have stalled forever at cape perpetua<br/>
<br/>

now when i want to know what day of this journey today is<br/>
i can just add 112 to the current gcebe day<br/>
