It is not the first time that language boundaries have been discussed <br/>
here (although it is a while ago), but I am wondering if you can help <br/>
me here. As far as I know, Catalan is spoken in 1. Catalonia (the <br/>
region), 2. North-Catalonia a.k.a. the French departement of the <br/>
Eastern Pyrenees, 3. the eastern rim of Aragon, along the border with <br/>
Catalonia, 4. the Valencia region (not all of it though), 5. <br/>
L&#39;Alguer/Alghero on Sardinia, 6. Andorra, and 7. a small part in the <br/>
province of Murcia. And it is this last part I want to ask you about. <br/>
I once saw this on a language map, but have never seen it since. Can <br/>
you tell me which part of Murcia this is (probably a very small <br/>
part), and how many speakers of Catalan live there? And is it legally <br/>
protected in any way?<br/>

Are there any other parts where Catalan is spoken?<br/>

I don&#39;t speak it (nor Castilian), but I can boast to speak a bit of <br/>
Basque...<br/>
