As for MNNDSD, we used the current topo map and GPS to navigate to
the supposed tri-point. This was about 135 feet east of the witness
monument. At that location we found a large rock partially exposed.
There are no markings on it. We declared this the tri-point and
started a cairn at this location by adding three rocks.

Hasbala does meet Kasba via a sometimes swift-running river flowing
north. It includes several sets of rapids, most notably at the inlet
to Kasba Lake. The only impressive wildlife we saw in the North was
a moose standing in this creek just across the boundary in the NWT.
The view was from the plane at a couple hundred feet above ground.
Without antlers he looked like a lonely mule far from home.

Strange that you mentioned your former domicile in CT. I just drove
past it on Saturday!
