 I am new on this group. I’m not an expert, but I am interested in <br/>
enclaves, anomalies in boundaries, etc. <br/>
I live 80 km. from Llívia, and 110 from Andorra, so near its two <br/>
triponts.<br/>

 Actually I’m enjoying my holidays and I have free time, so in the next <br/>
days I will post some questions and commentaries. <br/>

 Today I reccomend a site: <br/>

 It’s the website of the “Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya”, the <br/>
Catalonian’s government cartographic institute. There are great maps <br/>
and ortophotomaps.<br/>
<br/>
 Take a look to Llívia. Go to “Catalunya full a full” ( or “Catalunya <br/>
sheet by sheet”, in the English version )  Mark “població” and <br/>
in “cerca per topònims”, type “llívia” ( don’t forget the accent ). <br/>
Then click the first item ( “Cerdanya” ). Click the Ortophotomap <br/>
1:5000.  This is the town’s photomap. On the bottom ( “fulls <br/>
adjacents” ), click the southwest arrow. You will see the sheet of <br/>
Càldegues. In this sheet you will be able to see the international road <br/>
( it’s the parallel road to the river ). With the zoom ( first click <br/>
dimensions “grans” ) you will be able to see the change of the pavement <br/>
of the Spanish-french border! ( on the left, near “pont the Llívia” ). <br/>
On the other side, the change of pavement is not so clear: it’s just <br/>
before the “pontarró d’en Xidosa” just before a car on the road. This <br/>
is the border. You can compare the photo with the map posted on the <br/>
message number 1000 by Brendan White. There is a map 1:50.000 in this <br/>
website, too.<br/>
