unofficial one, just for practical reasons.<br/>

And practical reason no. 1 is of course that three letter word TAX. <br/>
Take this ruling, for instance: http://www.tele-<br/>
net.ch/beeler/bge/bge101ia269.htm . Especially Erwaegung 3. Another <br/>
example of the lack of a de jure partition of the lake. It is all <br/>
about the right of St. Gallen canton to tax ships on the lake. This <br/>
is a Swiss ruling, and Switzerland advocates the partition. It is <br/>
said that Germany gave up the Condominium claim during WW1, and that <br/>
Austria, that defends the Condominium status, still claims the so-<br/>
called &quot;Haldengebiet&quot; (the area up to a certain lake depth, <br/>
presumably the 25 m I also read about somewhere but forgot where that <br/>
was).<br/>

If judges have to go to such lengths like this to &quot;prove&quot; that there <br/>
is no condo, but are not able to produce one legal document to <br/>
support this, I get very suspicious...<br/>
