There is a boundary marker in Schengen, on the west bank of the
Moselle, at the point where the condominium reaches its southernmost
point. I have made a picture of it. On the other side of the river
there may be something, but I could not find it. The dam in the
middle of the river, separating the waterway to the lock from the
river proper that passes a weir here, is off limits of course. But
acc. to Wolfgang's documents, there is a mark on the stones there.
Have a look again at Wolfgang's BorderPointemail.doc.

I have one, R3 (the R series are normal 1:20k topo maps, but with
touristic info added), of which I made my scan of Vianden (msg.
2164). The boundary is marked like you say, except that in the
Vianden reservoir the boundary definitely follows the new reservoir
banks and not the old river banks. This is very clear on this map.
