jesper this is a great pleasure
not only your travels & comments themselves
but the fine presentation too
& especially the new danish boundary freaks site
that is wonderful
i spent a lot of time trying to figure that out
& did indeed get a great deal despite my language gap
but i think those honor boxes at the border are really hysterical
we have them here too but just at the entrance to some state parks
to hopefully collect some entrance fees without posting a guard
only problem is when everyone realizes the world is really free for all
but that is an unstoppable idea whose time has almost come anyway
still i think there is enough data in your report to conclude
regarding what i was asking peter hering last week
that the continuing presence of even such a pathetic border control device
does indicate that this is still a real international border here
& that it has not quite yet become completely abandoned or utterly unguarded
say like most interstate borders in the usa
hence i think all schengen loop tripoints may still be real tricountry points
at least for the time being
but do you agree
or do you think the european union is one country yet
& if not yet then when
& by what future agreement or action
is really the question of the hour
m
ps
also liked your obelisk
first real live one reported outside north america
oh yes i recall that one on the german postage stamp too
maybe just a nordic & yankee boundary thing after all
but still lots of places yet to be heard from
& have confirmed your swaziland tripoint pic is the north twin
rather than the south
which you probably already knew
but i was glad to realize it
