Subject: RE: [BoundaryPoint] Re: list of multinational pointsThe website www.nunavut.com is an excellent resource for information about Nunavut, the newest Canadian territory. The actual boundary for the territory was established years ago, and maps could be obtained from the Indian and Northern Affairs office in Canada. The newest maps from mainstream companies should be showing it by now.Tom-----Original Message-----

Subject: RE: [BoundaryPoint] Re: list of multinational pointsRe: the new Canadian territories...I remember 'Nunavit' but for some reason, couldn't come up with it at the time...just a sign of old age. (I actually haven't seen any detailed maps of the new territories yet.-----Original Message-----hahahaha

already a funhouse mirror
owing mainly to my terrible shorthand
but let me explain
first
in order to simplify & codify the names of the multipoints
some of us have been using the standard 2letter postal abbreviations for
the constituent states & provinces & countries & just arranging these in
alphabetical order
so bcwazazi is the botswana namibia zambia zimbabwe quadrinational point
http://www.state.gov/www/regions/independent_states.html gives the usgovts
full roster of these wonderful national diglyphs
a deep study in themselves
but i digress
second
i certainly understand & appreciate & share your low opinion of the wetpoints
yet it must be said in fairness to them that they have frequently been the
most entertaining ones to visit
& finally
you cant be serious about the new canadian territories
still for more data see also see also under
