i meant to say here the michigan wisconsin or miwi boundary
rather than the illinois michigan or ilmi boundary

m


ilmi has actually never been precisely delimited
& remains the least definite of all the interstate boundaries in the usa
a fact which obscures the ilmiwi & especially the ilinmi tripoint position
& makes the latter the most problematic of all the american tristate points
