bank of the dry nossob river bed crosses the 20th<br/>
meridian <br/>
as indicated by the longitude registry at google earth<br/>
<br/>
yet oddly this intersection at least appears there to<br/>
be so gradual that it could fall anywhere up to a mile<br/>
north of the pushpin <br/>
as well as some distance south of it<br/>
<br/>
& when i saw this bizarre apparent coincidence <br/>
i nearly threw up my hands & passed this one over<br/>
entirely <br/>
without offering a tripoint stretching diagram at all<br/>
until i noticed in the satpic what appears to be a<br/>
border fencing line with a namibian patrol road<br/>
alongside it running right up the middle of the dry<br/>
stream bed there<br/>

so i followed this presumptive physical trace of the<br/>
border to its intersection with the left bank <br/>
over a mile to the north of the pushpin<br/>
where i finally placed the corrected or second guessed<br/>
tripoint location<br/>
with a fair degree of confidence & satisfaction<br/>
at the position shown by the little red square in the<br/>
first attachment<br/>

it may even be possible to discern some trace of the<br/>
oblique bwza convergent arriving from the southeast<br/>
just there too<br/>
tho i am not so sure about that detail as about the<br/>
namibia border trace & this speculative positioning<br/>
improvement overall<br/>

& in the case of bwzazw the attached tripoint<br/>
stretching diagram is more straighforwardly centered<br/>
at what i am again only guessing with some confidence<br/>
to be the correct position<br/>
in the midst of the apparent shashi limpopo confluence<br/>
<br/>
more likely at the centerline than thalweg junction<br/>

but at a time of such low water as in this satpic<br/>
whats the difference anyway<br/>

& having gotten all that too off my chest<br/>
it is backward ho to the greater bwnazmzw area again<br/>
