the bwnaza pushpin looks perfect just where the left
bank of the dry nossob river bed crosses the 20th
meridian
as indicated by the longitude registry at google earth

yet oddly this intersection at least appears there to
be so gradual that it could fall anywhere up to a mile
north of the pushpin
as well as some distance south of it

& when i saw this bizarre apparent coincidence
i nearly threw up my hands & passed this one over
entirely
without offering a tripoint stretching diagram at all
until i noticed in the satpic what appears to be a
border fencing line with a namibian patrol road
alongside it running right up the middle of the dry
stream bed there

so i followed this presumptive physical trace of the
border to its intersection with the left bank
over a mile to the north of the pushpin
where i finally placed the corrected or second guessed
tripoint location
with a fair degree of confidence & satisfaction
at the position shown by the little red square in the
first attachment

it may even be possible to discern some trace of the
oblique bwza convergent arriving from the southeast
just there too
tho i am not so sure about that detail as about the
namibia border trace & this speculative positioning
improvement overall

& in the case of bwzazw the attached tripoint
stretching diagram is more straighforwardly centered
at what i am again only guessing with some confidence
to be the correct position
in the midst of the apparent shashi limpopo confluence

more likely at the centerline than thalweg junction

but at a time of such low water as in this satpic
whats the difference anyway

& having gotten all that too off my chest
it is backward ho to the greater bwnazmzw area again
