authoritatively shows this tripoint at the
intersection of a ridge line which is the amaz
convergent
& the arax river
which carries amir & azir

& the ibs confirms the old iran soviet border followed
the thalweg there

the attached tripoint stretching diagram makes use of
the google earth countour feature to locate the point
where the ridge meets the thalweg

& again
i dont know if i should be repeating this but
the yellow lines that meet in a trijunction at one of
the little red squares are the erroneous google earth
overlay depiction of the 3 borders & resulting
tripoint
&
the other little red square at the other end of the
white extension line marks my best guessed corrected
tripoint positioning
&
the pushpin marks jespers preliminary & necessarily
more casual yet still admirably accurate shot made
last week from relatively distant outer space

in fact both the ridge line & river do appear to
bifurcate or spread out at their meeting place there
& indeed both jespers & my amazire readings do stand
at least a chance of being correct
as does anywhere in the river between them
since they are looking like the extremest
possibilities in both directions
respectively
