this probably unmarked tripoint is placed by brownlie
on a ridge line
as specified by a 1919 frit understanding
&
is believed by the ibs to be situated at
n lat 23d30m54s0 & e long 11d59m54s6
&
is aka reference point 1010 as in elevation 1010
meters asl

best available map
http://mapy.mk.cvut.cz/data/Libie-Libya/english/map1-31.jpg

assuming google earth can be fully trusted for all 3
tude readings
which in fact i am not sure about
jespers pushpin hits both the stated latitude &
longitude precisely
but the elevation reading just there gives about 10
meters too much altitude
according to my mouse pointer anyway

a somewhat puzzling result

so
on the chance that either google or the ibs is a bit
off on the geocoords
i felt around with my mouse for the nearest 1010m or
3314ft ridge line elevation point
& marked my own tripoint guess just there with the
usual little red box
albeit somewhat diffidently in this case
for i am not at all sure i prefer this guess to
jespers pushpin position
