well yes since just about everywhere is riddled with
town tripoints
but you are right on about maine being fairly riddled
with quad towns

over 300 of them
nearly all dry
mostly just simple geodetic line crosses
which is quite extraordinary east of the midwest & or
north of florida

i have even just found this apparent international
quadrimunicipal point rarity there
or singularity it may be
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?z=19&n=5063190&e=389636&s=50&size=l&datum=nad83&layer=DRG25
where the maine townships of dennistown plantation &
forsyth & sandy bay in somerset county seem to meet
the quebec municipality of saint robert bellarmin in
frontenac county
http://www.westol.com/~beaurega/map.htm
at a complex international quaternary quadripoint
point we might call caus2meqc3frso4defosasr
in our bp multipointing code

also peter
please let us have the address to your new england
town border forum
