Walkin' the walk is ultimately what it's all about. I love doing the mapping and research, but putting a foot on the spot or finding that benchmark that no eyeballs have seen in years is the ultimate reward.

One of these days the wife and I will rent a 4WD and take on as many of the western tri-state points as time and weather allow. We'll look for your and the Butlers' bootprints.
