brownlie says
tripoint is at confluence of rivers bani & leraba
& there are no demarcations nor even agreements
& only old french colonial maps to go by

however
these rivers are in fact in different watersheds
yikes
& subsequent ibs numbers 169 for bfci & 171 for ciml
correct this misplacement
by saying
tripoint is located approx n10d25m12s x w5d30m48s
at the junction of the danboro & zagoundouba rivers
which combine to form the leraba occidentale
per french ign mapping 1964 thru 1975
while also noting
the former confluent flows eastward & the latter
southward
hence identifying them as the ciml & bfml convergents
respectively
the leraba thus being bfci

closest known locality
fanidiama ml 5km
produces a closest known pic
