the following comment by brownlie was overlooked the first time around

since the 1912 defr declaration involved delimitation in detail but not marking on the
ground

however he continues
there is reason to believe that the frontier was marked on the ground in operations
between 1908 & 1912
when numbered markers were either confirmed & noted or emplaced
per cornevin histoire du dahomey 1962 pp400f
&
various maps indicate that the frontier is demarcated

so
quite conceivably the present tripoint was marked along with the rest at that time
insofar as it was even then a major turnpoint before being adopted as a tripoint in 1919
