that the original 1925 italo egyptian eglysd trifinium<br/>
was rotated 90 degrees on 20 july 1934<br/>
from a north facing tee to the present east facing one<br/>

by the significantly <br/>
tripartite <br/>
italo british egyptian agreement of rome<br/>
which transferred the sarra triangle just sw of eglysd<br/>
from sudan to libya<br/>
<br/>
so if this agreement <br/>
whether it occasioned any new demarcation or not<br/>
chances to merely include a datumized map or just the<br/>
right stray wording<br/>
then we could already be home free & hope to nail<br/>
eglysd with that single find<br/>
& dispense with or rather save for another occasion<br/>
this delicious but herculean to impossible task of<br/>
finding not 1 but 2 datums & producing an intersection<br/>
from them<br/>

& i know these old colonial treaties can be elusive &<br/>
their maps even moreso than their texts<br/>
