"A model of cross border co-operation": Even more so is the game that Prince
Pueckler-Muskau, the former owner of the park, played with Machbuba, an
Ethiopian girl purchased on the Khartum slave market in 1837 and taken home
to Muskau as a souvenir, much to the "delight" of his wife. See
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machbuba for details of this juicy story or
google for "Machbuba". The poor Machbuba is buried in Muskau/German side in
the churchyard, far away form her homeland that she never saw again.

Betreff: [BoundaryPoint] Muskauer Park / Park Muzakowski
The Muskauer Park is on the border between Germany & Poland and there has
recently been a bridge built linking the 2 sides which have been seperated
since 1945. The park & its conservation is now a model of cross border
co-operation.
