Many DVD drives in computers will also play PAL Region 1 (North
America) DVDs. Sometimes you need to run a wee program to turn your
drive (in the case of Europe) from a Region 2 (Euroland) to Region 1
(CanUsa) or even Region 0 (all regions) player. If playing back on a
computer, it doesn't matter if the content is PAL or NTSC -- computers
don't care.

If anyone has questions about this, feel free to ask.

Len: which network broadcast the programme? If it was DW, there might
be an English version for those of us who are (sadly) unilingual. Was
it a new show?

Doug
