PS: Unfortunately we have hoisted the Scottish flag instead of our "own". We just did not have a People's- Republic-of-Rockall flag with us. We are going to cure this fault now along diplomatic channels.

We welcome the information that you on the 16th June hoisted the Scottish flag on the small and remote island of Rockall,
to aknowledge Scottish sovereignty over the uninhabited and rocky piece of land in the North Atlantic.

The Republic of Gulating aknowledges Scottish sovereignty and the right and will of the indigenous peoples of Scotland
to full independence, espescially mentioning Shetland, Orkney, Hebrides and Man.

We expect your mission of Rockall Times to be a cheerful contribution to the often all too serious debate about
who owns what - and why ? The nations and states of the world greets you, and welcomes your newspaper !
