of which a rough copy is attached<br/>
reveals critical differences <br/>

the topo shows the tripoint more than 500 feet east of<br/>
the river road<br/>
whereas the schematic shows them less than 300 feet<br/>
apart <br/>
& it also depicts a north fork entering the brook<br/>
about 100 feet below the tripoint<br/>
<br/>
but what is probably still more significant & useful<br/>
the schematic indicates an old wood road paralleling<br/>
the brook 50 feet south of it<br/>
with the tripoint exactly midway between them<br/>
<br/>
these new data<br/>
together with the confirmation that i was indeed on<br/>
the right topo swatch & in the right cleavage after<br/>
all<br/>
suggest that both of my earlier tries actually<br/>
overshot the target<br/>
& that the retry should be far easier than i had<br/>
previously supposed<br/>

& accordingly i can already practically taste that the<br/>
end of the first quarter of play is at hand <br/>

so once again i am scoping out a follow on try<br/>
which will be the 12th in the berkshire sequence of 44<br/>
