still trying to learn more about the distinguished
monument pictured in the first of these attachments

it is the only known surviving tripoint marker on the
delaware circle
standing tall in fact at us2depa3chne4chkepe
aka
the point where the christiana hundred municipality
of new castle county delaware
meets the kennett & pennsbury township municipalities
of chester county pennsylvania

yet it is uniquely & conspicuously missing from the
official delaware boundary marker data base
& this despite also marking a multi significant
position in delaware boundary history
namely
the only tangent point of 2 different arcs
& also
the tip of the horn
as diagrammed in the second attachment
a geometric nonidentical siamese twin of the wedge
that delaware actually did lose some time between 1850
& 1921
thanx to graham
& thus too
a sort of counterfoil to the 1850pseudodemdpa1921
tripoint
located at the opposite extremity of grahams folly
which nearly also cost delaware the wedge as well

the barely legible hand chiseled inscription on the
rough hewn rock seems to say

this stone marks the site of the old hickory tree on
the delaware pennsylvania boundary of 1701
also a point in the east line of the manor created by
wm penn & deeded to his daughter letitia

& will be phoning our newfound circle expert today
under the cupola at the old new castle county
courthouse
with my questions about this rock
& of course also about the placement of the lower denj
arc
