Previously we have discussed the "enclave" of Strovilia in Cyprus, but had problems identifying the place on maps.
The Cyprus UN buffer zone boundaries are defined as the cease fire lines of 16 August 1974. When the cease fire came into effect, the Turkish forces had not reached the Sovereign Base Area (UK) boundary near Strovilia. The Turks falsely believed the entire village was part of SBA, and therefore was not attacked. The Turkish Forward Defence Line was established by UNFICYP as being north of the Famagusta/Larnaca Road.
This is the only place on the island where the Republic of Cyprus borders the Turkish occupied area directly. Strovilia is not an enclave, but a small fragment as their are two neighbours.
In 2000 the Turks broke the status quo rules of not advancing their positions and occupied the fragment.

a 1:50.000 map of the Agios Nikolaos part of the Dhekelia base. The map is from the 1963 and show no settlement at Strovilia. It does show the small area of Cyprus south of the road (between 53 and 54 on the map)

But does these new tripoints, CYKKUKW and CYKKUKE really excist or count? And what are they? Ghost defacto? Or since there IS a cease fire agreement defining the UN boundaries, are the then not tripoints like CYUKUNE de jure and not de facto?

& based on your data here i would say you have found the ghost defacto tripoints of

dejure would mean they had actually been points of trilateral recognition & agreement
which doesnt appear to have been the case with these ghosts
as the markers were from a prior & only bilateral agreement & demarcation
nor does it seem to be the case with the 4 still extant defacto tripoints on cyprus
which so far as we know have never been precisely determined
or at least not so precisely determined as these 2 seem to have been by you
On http://nicolette.dk/cyprus/strov-gal.php the top photo is taken from UK looking towards Strovilia, I have tried to find border marker 233 on the photo, but I am not sure. I saw it and touched it, but did not manage to photograph it. I believe the bm is between blue sign and wire post
On the bottom photo is border marker 237 and the eastern tripoint. I only noticed and post next to the road after getting the film developed. Apparenly it says TCK, which could mean Turkish Ceasefire something, but it could be also a road marker, and that's why I did not note it.
Anyway 4 / 6 CY international tripoints visited.
