Some days ago I raised the question what the symbols might mean on top of a
rock on Seborga's highest mountain, Mt. Carparo (see attached). The solution
is most kindly offered by Jean Philippe Arnotte, consul of Seborga in
Luxembourg, in charge of historical studies: His excellency claims it is a
medieval bordermarker combining with esoteric symbols and topographic plans,
second half of 13th century.
