Thank you for the list. Essentially it is a useful guide for the collector.
However, not to my surprise, it contains the "usual" errors, that repeat
itself from one list to the other, as follows:

1) Chile: Cerro Aconcagua is on Argentinian ground; the Chilean border runs
a few miles to the west. The highest in Chile is Ojos del Salado.

2)Luxemburg: Virtually all lists say Burgplatz is the highest. Burgplatz is
certainly an impressive site, with a tower on top. However, about one km to
the East there is a point called "Kneiff" that is 1 m higher - and totally
unattractive, just on a field, unmarked.

3)Monaco: Mount Agel is behind Monaco on French. The correct information
would have been: Unnamed point on the (lower) slope of Mt. Agel, 140 m

4)and of course Italy: As I said in my introductory posting, there is
evidence that it is NOT the summit of Mont Blanc. The border is ill-defined
in this area. Neither do we have a precise border description, nor markers
on the icy ground. So at best we may face a border dispute. Nevertheless,
most maps show the summit being entirely French. My precise question was:
How high is the point where the border leaves the Bosses ridge just shortly
below the summit?

Best wishes, and thank you again,

Wolfgang
