just to add a cherry to the top of my confusion sunday

while being ushered out of the library in mt vernon after the
previous garbled post
i noticed on the wall there possibly the biggest map i have ever seen

illinois from ceiling to floor
in good detail

so i couldnt help slowing myself & the librarian down
just long enough to be struck by perhaps the single most salient
detail for me at that moment on the entire sheet

which is that on my way down to joposawi yesterday
i had driven right past gahasawh
aka gallatin hamilton saline white
completely unawares because my aaa map was so fundamentally
deficient as to omit the gallatin white county line entirely

meaning i could have had 2 megapoint tries for the price of 1
or at least bagged the closer one on half the gas

so i laughed all the way to the sports bar
hoping someone at bp would notice it too before i could report it
myself
just for the extra slapstick value

so you will have to imagine that

& then
a few hours later
to turn the whole thing into a banana split

we are just cruising into the bottom of the 6th at fenway
& moreover it is as serenely quiet as any bar i have ever known
when the barmaid announces this county goes dry at 10pm on sundays
so in order to see the rest of the game
please drive carefully the necessary 15 miles to the next bar
in the next county
in fact the very next village
of ashley

where fortunately i was also able to sleep it off in the parking lot
but have already advanced to nashville this morning
because the library here opens 6 hours earlier than at ashley
