Subject: World Map Database ia available

I thought this might be helpful to a lot
of people on this board.

I put together a World Map Database
with free maps all over the web
for almost every single country,
as well as links to commercially
sold maps and routing software.
This is the most complete list
available and I keep updating
it frequently, so keep checking back.

Database downloadable from

<http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6499>

under "World Map Database" near the top
under the world map.

It has every country listed and links to maps
that are suitable for GPS Navigation and calibration.
It's split into 2 sections.

The first section has a list of commercial products
that can either do GPS navigation
or at least route planning.

The second section are free maps all
over the web that can be downloaded and calibrated.

I have not included any maps that are too vague
(like CIA fact book maps etc...)
so all maps are suitable for navigation.

I wasn't able to find maps
for every single country out there,
so some are still blank.
But so far there are over 1000 maps,
covering the majority of the world.
