one of the highlights of the CEBT - to me - was our visit to the<br/>
divided city of Gorizia-Italy - Nova Gorica/Slovenia.<br/>
<br/>
I&#39;ve uploaded 4 pics from the area around the railway station into<br/>
the photo section of B.P. <br/>
<br/>
Just recently, when SI joined the EU on May 1st, the fence in front of the railw. st. was removed - and an open area with new markers<br/>
was created - very interesting, quite place nowadays!<br/>
<br/>
But only appr. 30 metres of the fence, that goes almost all the way<br/>
thru G-NG have disappeared...contrary to all these newspaper reports<br/>
that anticipated an &quot;open-border area&quot; all over this great city...The plaza in front of the railw.st. - that lies completely on SI-soil, is interesting, because everybody is allowed to cross the proper border, but just within certain limits, i.e. NOT into the station itself. - see explanation on bordersign.<br/>
