You probably mean GDR-FRG when you say that before WW2 there was no
border (before 1938, CZDE did exist, of course).

GDR-FRG were, for the bigger part, intra-german borders between the
entities that existed back then.

But that's not what you mean. What exactly _do_ you mean?
