<div id="ygrps-yiv-114626092">Yesterday (Thursday), at a hotel in San Antonio, Texas, the Mexican and US<br/>
commissioners of the 115-year-old International Boundary and Water Commission<br/>
and the Canadian and US commissioners of the 96-year-old International Boundary<br/>
Commission met together for the first time in history for an unofficial but<br/>
&quot;general discussion of common interests.&quot;  Among things discussed were possible<br/>
joint efforts in mapping, resources issues, and how the commissions can learn<br/>
from one another in dealing with similar situations.<br/>
