No. The border is older. Remember that Alsace-Lorraine was annexed to
Germany only from 1871 to 1919. Before that, it was French. And
before 1839, DEFRLU was DEFRNL. In fact, the marker numbering from
BEDENL (no. 193) up to DENL2NINWOV (no. 862) starts here with no. 1!

So N.I. = NL ??
