a friend who directs the harvard arboretum dropped by at cream hill today on
his way to yucca valley where he will try to find the worlds oldest living
thing

funny that this should happen just as i am waiting most expectantly for the
ends of the earth to arrive too

the presently oldest known living thing on earth
a creosote bush named king clone
which he will revisit & try to improve upon by finding an older bush

has been living here

for about 11700 years
