a most impressive & indeed the best known aerial view of jebel uweinat
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/publications/slidesets/geology/sgeo/slide_14.html

& a trijunction diagram superimposed on the same features
http://www.fao.org/NEWS/GLOBAL/LOCUSTS/Libyapix/630829w.jpg

if this makes you feel disoriented
take heart
as the photo appears to be flopped as well as rotated a bit

notice how the other jebels archnu & kissu identified in the diagram move
across to the opposite sides of the screen in the photo

therefore
my best guess at the tripoint position is
in the upper left quadrant of the overall land form as it appears
as well as just outside the largest fully closed loop

nice mental exercise in any case
but maybe one of you wizards can unflop & rotate & add the line art to the
pic

as it is
egsd heads off to the east by exiting stage left
misrepresenting dsylge for eglysd
ahh dsylexia
hahaha
but also
it exits not straight left but slightly cocked
ahh happy hour

for full particulars
including why the tripoint is not the summit
