yes that is my guess too

in fact i think jespers original guess at the white object on the
edge of the beach that turned out to be a volley ball cabinet has
actually not been improved upon

& no matter that it is technically mistaken

& i say this not because i ever saw a volley ball court or any of the
other stuff in this picture or in the mapquest offering
where i finally found your seaview lane etc btw
but because i do distinctly recall the large dense thicket that is
visible on the beach just to the west of there in the aerial views
& which i had to skirt to the north before working my way back down
the beach to reach an estimated position for what you are calling
capcor

i should add tho that the topozone offering was very reliable in
leading me directly to monument 212 via a bridle path that is rather
faithfully indicated by usgs in dashed lines there
just south of caor & just west of highway 101

& the caor state line was only indistinctly & intermittently
discernible on the ground between the highway & the beach
as just a strand of barbed wire here or there

i mean besides the 2 markers already mentioned

so no surprise if this border isnt really readable thru the veggies
from the air
