I guess that would mark the state boundary, but it might not be visible in the californiacoastline.org photo. The topo doesn't show the house in the photo. It might be that the web site author is incorrect and the crease in the trees is not the state line; I can't determine from the maps and photos. It does look like the white monument in the photo is at the end of the old airstrip, which would be very close to the state line.

Re: stone on beach at presumed CAOR, probably not. The site creator claims the CAOR boundary is denoted by the crease in the trees to the right of the house in this photo. In other words, the house is presumably in Oregon.
